New payment system means you don't need a credit card to date
ThaiLoveLines has launched a new payment which extends the number of payment options from one to six. The new payment system also makes it easier for credit and debit card holders to upgrade to Premium membership.
ThaiLoveLines also announces it has opened a merchant account with Moneybookers in London but will continue to operate a credit/debit card payment facility with PayPal.
'Security is a key concern for all our members and both PayPal and Moneybookers operate comprehensive security systems to detect and minimise fraud,' said Joseph O' Connor Operations Director of AtlanticThai Internet Co. Ltd. 'However we are particularly excited about reaction to our Western Union payment service which seems not only to be very popular but very effective for our customers.'
The new payment system introduces a number of payment methods for members who do not have credit cards or who do not wish to use a credit card. These include a Western Union payment option, Bank Transfer, Cash and ATM. The ATM payment option only applies to members who are in Thailand. 'The Thai banking system is very advanced with a very effective system allowing bank account holders to pay money from one account to another by ATM,' says Mr. O' Connor. 'Our payment system takes advantage of that.'
